The Lion, A Fairy and Sharpay.

We were invited to go to Beechmont Baptist Church for their Trunk N Treat on Saturday night. It was kind of chilly but the kids didn't seem to mind it. Alayna was a fairy and Ryan was a lion. Hannah was Sharpay from High School Musical. It was a good time. Almost all of the candy is gone.

Alayna's Harvest party

Alayna's preschool class had a harvest party yesterday. All of the children were dressed as scarecrows. They all looked so cute. Alayna enjoyed having her face painted although it came off before the party actually started. Ryan was with me and he had a ball, into everything.

Hubers

We took a trip to Hubers back in August for Alan's moms birthday. The weather was beautiful that day. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks, except for Ryan. I think he was scared of them.
He did enjoy the apple butter and fried biscuits as you can see.
Alayna also likes butter on her biscuits. Alayna also picked out her pumpkin, it is on our front porch sitting proud.

Our date night

Alan and I went out last Friday night with a couple of our friends and had a great time.

We went to eat at the August Moon, which is OK, then to get icecream and to see Fireproof. It was a good movie. We all enjoyed it.

It was nice to go out as adults only and enjoy our time of conversation and eating.

We hope to do this at least every other month.

Our Summer vacation

Since I am unable to use my digital camera at this time, I thought I would put some pictures of out trip to Destin back in August. We went with our friends from church, Lee & Sonya and their two boys Caleb & Joshua. It was nice to get away and go to the beach. The kids really enjoyed themselves too. Alayna will ask me occasionally "can we go to Florida today Momma?" like it is just a quick drive in the car. I think she has forgotten how long it took us to get there.

Hopefully we can go back again next year.
