Fun in the sun

Today we got out our water slide so the kids could have some fun. This week is VBS at our church and my little cousins have been going with us and then coming to our house for the afternoon. It was very hot today and they had a lot of fun on the water slide.

Newport Aquarium & The Lou. Zoo

We took a little over night trip to the Newport Aquarium and had planned to go to the Cincinatti Zoo but had a change of plans due to the weather. Ryan loved the "ish" . He ran from one display to another. Alayna's favorite was the jelly fish. Hannah had been there before so it was not as new to her. WE had lunch at Jonny Rockets which in my opinion is so overpriced for the quality of food you get. We ate at Rafferty's the next day and it was actually cheaper!

Ryan's 2nd Birthday at Chuck E Chesse

For Ryan's official Birthday we took him to one of his favorite places... Chuck E. Cheese.

He had a great time, he said "Mouse". He got to dance with Chuck E. but he would not stand still long enough to get his picture made with him.

I made the catepillar cake, he liked it too. He called it a "pretty cake" :)

Ryan's Birthday

I made a cake for Ryan today since his official birthday is today. When he looked at his cake he said "pretty cake". I am glad he likes it, it was fun decorating it.

We are going to Chuck E. Cheese tonight, he loves Chuck E.

Ryan's 2 nd Birthday

Where has the year went? My little boy is already 2, well not until tomorrow. But the time has flown, this time last year he was learning to walk. I have to chase after him now.

He enjoyed his party, a couple of his favorite things are on his cake. He loves "trucks and fish"

so that was what I went with for his cake.

We are planning to take him to see the big mouse (Chuck E. Cheese) on Tuesday for his real Birthday. I will try to put some of those pictures on here as well.

Hannah @ Karate

Hannah decided that she would take up Karate, so we are going to let her give it a try. It will be to her advantage to learn self defense, since she is a girl. She is getting her"form" down which is good. Her cousin Abby is also taking Karate. I just hope they don't knock each other out :)

GO DADDY!!!

Alan ran his first Mini Marathon this past Saturday. The kids and I went to cheer him on, it was fun watching all the people run or walk down the street. Alan finished in 2 hrs and 24 mins he says next year he will do it in 2 hours... we will see....

Father Daughter Dance

Hannah had her Father Daughter dance at school, this is the last one she will have with Alan as she will be going to a new school next year. I was not able to get a picture of them together because I had to leave before Alan was ready to go. Hannah enjoyed her night with Daddy.

She is growing up so fast, I don't know where the past 8 years have went. I fixed her hair which turned out kind of nice. She looked beautiful I think :)

Alan also looked nice, he has lost alot of weight since this time last year.

Hannah is with her friend Karlee in the top picture, they have been friends since day one of First grade.

Alayna's Field trip to the ZOO

Alayna went on her first field trip to the Louisville Zoo with her preschool. Alayna got to ride on a school bus which was a really big deal for her. She liked it!!

It was such a nice day, the ZOO was really packed. We had lunch at rode the train which was really important to do for Alayna & Ryan. Alayna walked around with her friends Daniel and Olivia, those 3 are always together in school.

Well it has been awhile since I have posted a new entry, it just falls by the way side. I have a few things to post just to get caught up.

On Easter Sunday I missed church, Alayna was sick with a high fever so I stayed home with her and Ryan. It was really disappointing for her since she did not get to wear her new dress, hat or carry her new purse. She will wear it soon though.

It actually worked out well though because we had lunch at our house and then an egg hunt which Alayna missed as well. It was a nice day and so blessed to have everyone here.

Fun outside in the nice weather

We all went out side today to take advantage on the nice weather. Tomorrow will not be as nice according to the weather man.

The kids like to draw and paint on the driveway. You will see their artwork in the pictures.

Ryan and Alayna also got to paly with our neighbors dog Dylan. He is so big I think Ryan could ride him like a horse! When Alan got home from work he had some limbs to tackle, our yard is still a mess from the ice storm. It was a decent day to work on it so it is not as bad as it was.

We have a few piles of limbs that need to be cleaned up, we will get to that soon hopefully.
